I am Aditi. I love trying out new things to come up with solutions and I decided to become a designer to get paid for doing exactly that.
My love for reading, sketching, and endlessly watching movies and TV shows, nudged me into studying animation filmmaking at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad.
I am currently based in Detroit, MI, USA pursuing a Graduate program in UX Design from the College of Creative Studies. I have previously worked for the media startup—Homescreen Network (Spark.live) to create multilingual animated informational videos, identity design, and user interfaces; and sleep fitness and childcare startup—Cradlewise where I was involved in varying capacities as a visual and software product designer. I have contributed across mediums of print and packaging, visual design, user experience and interface, information design, video editing, animation, web design, illustrations and comics, and 3d modeling.
Through my work, I try exploring narratives with a lens of what makes us similar rather than distant. I believe that's one of the most powerful ways to create empathy and bridge gaps that exist in today’s otherwise connected world. To cater to themes I feel strongly about, I have enjoyed collaborating with organizations working for mental health (Sangath and Wellcome), menstrual health (Uninhibited) and queer affirmation (Gaysi and Almaarii). These junctures keep bolstering the need to create meaningful dialogues through art in me.
I am excited to develop my practice as a designer and artist across mediums. A thinker and tinkerer, I'm always up to come together with multi-disciplinary individuals to solve problems and create universally-relatable experiences.
